Technical Principle

The oil-free scroll air compressor is a positive displacement compressor that relies on the relative motion between a pair of stationary and moving scrolls to complete the intake-compression-exhaust process. No oil is injected into the compression chamber, resulting in clean, oil-free compressed air output. The compressor consists of a fixed scroll (stationary scroll) and an eccentric rotating scroll (moving scroll). The stationary scroll is fixed to the frame, while the moving scroll is driven by an eccentric shaft and constrained by an anti-rotation mechanism, revolving around the stationary scroll with a small radius. The moving scroll engages with the stationary scroll at a 180-degree offset, forming multiple crescent-shaped closed compression chambers. As the rotating body rotates in the sequence shown in Figures 1-2-3-4, the volume of each crescent-shaped compression chamber gradually decreases, and the air within is gradually compressed. The compressed air is then discharged from the center of the stationary scroll.
