Characteristics
Basic performance of materials
- Density: 1.1-1.4 g/cm ³ (adjusted according to the reinforcement/filling ratio).
- Temperature resistance range: -30 ℃~130 ℃ (short-term temperature resistance can reach 150 ℃), long-term use temperature is recommended to be ≤ 110 ℃.
- Water absorption rate: ≤ 0.03% (excellent moisture resistance).
- Molding shrinkage rate: 0.2% -0.8% (affected by reinforcing materials).
Mechanical properties
- Tensile strength: ≥ 50 MPa (pure PP about 30 MPa), can be increased to 80-120 MPa after glass fiber reinforcement.
- Bending modulus: ≥ 2000 MPa (pure PP about 1000 MPa), mineral filled type can reach over 3000 MPa.
- Gap impact strength: 1-5 kJ/m ² (adjusted according to the amount of toughening agent added).
Functional characteristics
- Chemical corrosion resistance: resistant to acid and alkali (pH 1-14), oils, and organic solvents (such as alcohols and esters).
- Flame retardant performance: can reach UL94 V-0/V-2 level (requires the addition of bromine/phosphorus flame retardants).
- Electrical insulation: Volume resistivity ≥ 1 × 10 ¹⁵Ω· cm, dielectric strength ≥ 20 kV/mm.
- Surface treatment: Supports matte, high gloss, and frosted treatments, and can be coated or printed.
