Product introduction: It is an amorphous high-performance polymer with high dimensional stability and creep strength. Its torsional strength among thermoplastics makes it a cheap alternative to small steel cutting workpieces. Pure PEI thermoplastic is a translucent, amber-colored material. PEI polymer is extruded by us using Sabic's Ultem® resin into rods and sheets.
Product features: high strength and high stiffness, excellent dimensional stability, excellent chemical resistance, durability, high heat non-deformation ability, and resistance to weather conditions. Unique flame retardancy, low smoke emission, required (suitable for physical contact with food), good electrical insulation performance.
Application areas: tableware/public catering, medical equipment, telecommunications, molded interconnects (MID), automotive lighting, aircraft interior components, HVAC/fluid handling.

Super high temperature resistance: Continuously withstand high temperatures of 170℃, and can reach 200℃ in a short period of time.
High mechanical strength: Higher tensile strength than ordinary engineering plastics (such as PA, PC), and excellent impact resistance.
Chemical corrosion resistance: Resistant to strong acids, strong alkalis, solvents and fuels, suitable for chemical and medical fields.
Dimensional stability: Low water absorption (<0.1%), small deformation after processing, and high precision retention rate.

PEI (Polyetherimide) is a great building surface for any 3D printer. The amber / yellow colored surface is commonly used to print a whole range of different filament types such as the two most commonly used ones, ABS and PLA. Depending on the filament type a heated build surface might still be required. PEI sheet as a build plate requires little to no surface preparation. Printed parts adhere extremely well to the build surface making the use of kapton tape, blue tape, hairspray, or glue sticks unnecessary. Typically, even printing brims or rafts is unnecessary. PEI is widely becoming the gold standard build surface because it is so convenient to use.
