The battery formation equipment is used for the formation of polymer batteries under pressure conditions. The whole machine is composed of 1 insulation box and 2 sets of fixtures, with a total of 64 channels. The fixtures are embedded into the equipment.

Precision Pressure and Temperature Control System

The Lithium Ion Battery Tester features layer by layer temperature control: 33 heating plates independently controlled for temperature, temperature range 0-95℃, control accuracy ±2℃, and temperature uniformity of pressing plate ≤ ±3℃.

Dynamic pressure regulation: ultra-large pressures 5000kgf (3,200 psi), precision is ±20kgf when the pressure between 250~1000kgf and ±2% when pressure between 1000~5000kgf.

Safety protection: equipped with a light grid safety door and smoke detector, in case of abnormal conditions, the light grid detector can automatically open the cover and cut off power.

Efficient Testing Capacity

64 channels operate synchronously with respect to current test range between 40mA-20A, which can meet the fast-charging requirements of polymer batteries.

Four wire precision measurement completely clears the influence of contact resistance, voltage accuracy ±(0.5‰FS + 0.5‰RD), current accuracy ±(0.5‰FS + 0.5‰RD).

Energy regeneration technology: discharging efficiency ≥60% and charging efficiency ≥80%, saving over 30% electric costs throughout the year.

Intelligent Production Management

-Flexible model change design for the Equipment For Lithium-Ion Cell Formation: there is no need to replace press block when changing thickness, manual adjustment is only necessary for length and width.

Full-process traceability: supports implementation into MES systems, recording all usage of each cell including more than 20 parameters, voltage, current, capacity, temperature, and etc. when testing.

Automatic classification sorting system: support sorting based on 12 parameters -including capacity, voltage, platform, and etc.- resulting in 5% yield increase.
