Gabion are rectangular wire mesh baskets filled with rock at the project site to from flexible,permeable,monolithic structures such as retaining walls for commercial,industrial and road projects.They are aslo used for erosion control,river bank , dam protection, and weirs.

Gabion strength comes from a double twisted henxagonal mesh of steel wire（2.7m）which is reinforced by selvedges of heavier wire(3.4m)running along the edges and by transverse diaphragms. The double twisted woven wire will not unravel, even when cut.

The mesh is manufactured with class A galvanized wire or with PVC coating wire, with mesh aperture of 80×100mm.

Strong Weather Resistance: The steel wires undergo dual anti-corrosion treatment (e.g., hot-dip galvanizing + polymer coating), offering resistance to corrosion, aging, and harsh environments such as marine, alpine, and desert conditions.

Corrosion and rust resistance. Whether Gabion Retaining Wall is heavily galvanized, galvanized then PVC coated or Galfan coating, it has high corrosion and rust resistance.
