POM-C Sheet 8mm 12mm Polyoxymethylene Sheet

White POM (Polyoxymethylene) sheet is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic engineering plastic made by copolymerization (POM-C) process, with excellent mechanical strength, wear resistance, dimensional stability and chemical corrosion resistance. White POM C sheet uses high-purity resin raw materials, and adds stabilizers, anti-UV agents and white pigments to ensure that the material maintains color stability and performance consistency in long-term use.

Production process:

Extrusion molding: Suitable for standard thickness (1-100mm) sheets, with uniform crystal structure and stable mechanical properties.

Casting molding: Used for ultra-thick sheets (more than 100mm), with lower internal stress, suitable for high-precision processing.

Surface treatment: Glossy, frosted or anti-static coating can be provided to meet different application requirements.

Appearance characteristics:

Color: Pure white (customizable ivory white, milky white, etc.).

Surface: Smooth and flat, without bubbles, cracks or impurities.

Transparency: Translucent to opaque (depending on thickness).

Wear resistance:

The friction coefficient is lower than that of nylon (PA) and polycarbonate (PC), and the self-lubricating property reduces the need for additional lubrication, which is suitable for oil-free environments (such as food machinery).

The density is 1.41-1.42 g/cm³ (only 1/2 of aluminum alloy), which can reduce the inertia of moving parts and improve the energy efficiency of equipment.
