Product description of pom c sheet
Composition: Homo formaldehyde (POM) or co formaldehyde (POM), co formaldehyde has slightly lower heat resistance but better stability.
Form: White or natural color board, usually 1-250 mm thick, customizable surface (smooth, frosted, CNC pre machined).
Processability: Easy to machine, mill, drill, laser cut or bond (requires special adhesive).

Product Performance
Mechanical properties
High strength and rigidity: The tensile strength of POM can reach 60-70 MPa, and the bending modulus is about 2.5-3 G0Pa, which is close to metals (such as aluminum) and suitable for load-bearing components.
Excellent wear resistance: low friction coefficient (0.1-0.3), good self-lubricating properties, superior to most engineering plastics (such as nylon).
Fatigue resistance: Stable performance under cyclic loading, suitable for dynamic components such as gears and springs.
Thermal performance
Working temperature: -40 ℃ to+100 ℃ for long-term use, can withstand 130 ℃ in the short term.
Hot deformation temperature (1.82 MPa): about 110 ℃.
Chemical
Solvent resistance: resistant to hydrocarbons, alcohols, weak bases, but not to strong acids (such as concentrated sulfuric acid) and strong oxidants.
Hydrolysis resistance: superior to nylon, but easily degraded in high temperature steam.
Electrical performance
Insulation: Volume resistivity>10 ¹⁴Ω· cm, dielectric strength 15-20 kV/mm, suitable for electrical components.
Dimensional stability
Low moisture absorption (<0.25%), shrinkage rate of 1.5-2.5% after molding, high dimensional accuracy (± 0.1%).
