Why Exactly Blue

Colour on HDPE stock is more than just aesthetics.

In water infrastructure work, blue is the standard colour code for potable water systems — a convention plumbers, municipal contractors and water treatment facilities recognise on sight.

Sometimes a project spec requires blue HDPE because somebody later down the line needs to be able to tell at a glance that a part is for a drinking water line and not a chemical or gas system.
