MC Casting Nylon sheet (Monomer Casting Nylon) is a high-performance thermoplastic engineering plastic sheet formed by directly casting caprolactam monomer into a preheated mold under the action of an initiator (such as sodium hydroxide) and an activator (such as TDI, MDI) through a polymerization reaction (ring-opening polymerization). It is essentially a form of Cast PA6, which is different from extruded or injection molded nylon sheets and has better dimensional stability, mechanical strength and chemical resistance.

Key Features 

Raw Materials: Caprolactam monomer is used as the main raw material, and modifiers (such as glass fiber, molybdenum disulfide, graphite, etc.) are added to enhance specific properties.

Production Process: Monomer direct casting polymerization, no high-temperature melt extrusion is required, avoiding molecular chain breakage and retaining a more complete polymer structure.
