Polypropylene / PP Sheet is very chemically resistant material. Noticeable influence on it have only strong oxidizing agents - chlorosulfonic acid, fuming nitric acid, halogens, oleum.

Concentrated 58% sulfuric acid and a 30% hydrogen peroxide at room temperature are negligible for the polypropylene material. Prolonged contact with these reagents at 60 ° C and above causes degradation of Polypropylene.

Polypropylene sheet in organic solvents at room temperature swells slightly. Above 100 ° C it is soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzene, toluene.

Compared to PE material, PP shows improved hardness particularly in the upper temperature range (up to +100 ° C). Notable are the high chemical resistance to many environments and good long term characteristics even at high temperatures.

PP sheet (polypropylene sheet) is a thermoplastic sheet made of polypropylene (PP) resin as the main raw material through extrusion or calendering process. Polypropylene is a semi-crystalline polymer material with low density, chemical corrosion resistance, and good heat resistance. Production process: mainly extrusion molding (flat extrusion method), some special uses are produced by calendering process; the sheet thickness is uniform, the surface is smooth or matte, and customized processing can be performed.
