Construction process and precautions for washed stone paint

1、 Construction technology

Grassroots treatment: Clean the surface dust and oil stains, repair cracks and holes, ensure that the base is flat and dry (moisture content ≤ 10%), and use sandpaper to polish and enhance adhesion.

Bottom coat construction: Spray alkali resistant sealing primer, and prevent the base layer from alkali bleeding after it dries completely (about 24 hours).

Main paint construction: Mix and wash the stone paint with water until the aggregates are evenly distributed. Use a spray gun (with a diameter of 4-6mm) to spray a thickness of 3-5mm from the base layer at a distance of 30-50cm, or use a spatula to scrape and ensure consistent thickness.

Water washing treatment: After the coating surface dries (2-4 hours), use a high-pressure water gun to gently flush the surface slurry to expose the texture of the stones, and control the water pressure to avoid washing away the aggregates.

Surface coating construction: After drying, spray dust cover gloss paint to enhance weather resistance and glossiness.

2、 Precautions

Environmental requirements: Construction temperature should be between 5-35 ℃, avoiding rainy or humid weather. Excessive moisture content in the base layer can easily cause coating peeling.

Material control: The main paint should be thoroughly mixed before use, and color difference tests should be conducted for different batches; If the washing time is too short, there may be residual floating slurry, and if it is too long, it can easily damage the coating.

Detail processing: Cover complex structures or corners in advance to avoid paint contamination; After completion, maintain for 3-7 days to prevent collisions.
