A 26mm Sliding Roof Roller is a high-precision nylon wheel specifically designed for the sliding roof systems (often called "Edscha" or "Schiebeverdeck" systems) of heavy-duty trailers and commercial vans.
Unlike side curtain rollers which bear vertical weight, these roof rollers are usually mounted on the roof arches (bows) to allow the entire roof tarpaulin to collapse forward or backward for top-loading.
Wheel Diameter: $26mm$ (Standard for several European rail systems).
Wheel Width: Typically $17mm$ to $19mm$.
Material: High-grade Nylon (Polyamide) or POM. This material is chosen for its "self-lubricating" properties and high resistance to flat-spotting under the tension of the roof tarp.

Using a 26mm roller in a track designed for 24mm or 30mm will cause significant issues:
Too Small: The roller will "wobble" or tilt inside the rail, leading to the roof arches jamming or the nylon wearing unevenly.
Too Large: The roller simply won't fit into the "C-channel" or "Ω-channel" of the aluminum roof rail.
If you are replacing these, check the axle bolts. Over time, the vibration from travel can loosen the bolts that hold these $26mm$ wheels to the steel roof arches. If a roller is seized, it’s better to replace it than to lubricate it; grease inside a roof track often does more harm than good by trapping dirt and creating a grinding paste.
