1. Brief Introduction
The 350LE(N) filters are suitable for direct installation into pressure lines. Most of them are equipped with upstream open-loop or closed-loop control units for protection.
2. Basic Components
The basic components include the filter head (1), screw-in filter bowl (2), filter element (3), and visual maintenance indicator (4). For filters with low-differential pressure stabilizing filter elements (= differential pressure code letter A), a bypass valve (5) is also equipped. For size 0160, the standard equipment includes a drain plug (7).
Generally, the filters are equipped with a visual maintenance indicator (4). Electronic maintenance indicators are connected to one or two switch quantities (6) via electronic switch elements, which must be ordered separately. The electronic switch elements are attached to the visual maintenance indicator and secured with a locking ring.
3. Working Principle
Hydraulic oil enters the filter element (3) for cleaning through port 1. Dust particles are filtered out by the filter element and remain in the filter bowl (2) and filter element (3). The filtered hydraulic oil then enters the hydraulic circuit through port 0. The filter housing and all connecting elements are designed to safely absorb pressure peaks—such as those that may occur when a large flow control valve is suddenly opened due to accelerated fluid impact.
