PA6 GF30 sheet (Polyamide 6 Glass Fiber Reinforced 30% Sheet, 30% glass fiber reinforced nylon 6 sheet) is a high-performance engineering plastic sheet made of nylon 6 (PA6) resin as the base material, adding 30% by weight of glass fiber (GF) through a melt blending process, and made by extrusion or compression molding. As one of the five major general engineering plastics, PA6 itself has excellent toughness, self-lubrication and processability, but its strength, rigidity and heat resistance are limited by the molecular chain structure (non-polar polyamide segment). By adding glass fiber (GF), the mechanical properties, heat resistance and dimensional stability of PA6 GF30 sheet are significantly improved, while retaining the lightweight (density 1.35 - 1.45 g/cm³) and easy processing characteristics of PA6, making it an ideal alternative material to metals (such as aluminum alloys, steel) and ordinary plastics (such as PP, POM).
 
Why choose PA6 GF30 sheet?
Ultra-high strength and rigidity: The tensile strength can reach 150-200MPa (unreinforced PA6 is about 60-80MPa), the bending modulus is 8-12GPa (unreinforced PA6 is about 3GPa), close to aluminum alloy (bending modulus is about 70GPa), and can replace thin-walled metal parts to reduce weight by 30%-50%.
Excellent heat resistance: The continuous use temperature is increased from 80-100℃ of PA6 to 120-150℃ (short-term tolerance 180℃), and the heat deformation temperature (HDT, 1.8MPa load) reaches 200-220℃, which meets the needs of high temperature environment.
Excellent dimensional stability: The directional arrangement of glass fibers significantly reduces the expansion rate caused by moisture absorption (the linear expansion rate after moisture absorption is reduced from 0.2%-0.5% of PA6 to 0.05%-0.1%), which is suitable for high-precision parts.
Wear resistance and self-lubrication: Inheriting the self-lubricating properties of PA6 (friction coefficient 0.2-0.3), the wear amount is only 1/2-1/3 of that of unreinforced PA6, which is suitable for dynamic friction scenarios.
Chemical corrosion resistance: The resistance to lubricating oil, gasoline, weak acid and alkali (pH 5-9) is better than that of ordinary plastics (such as PP, PVC), but it is not resistant to strong acid (concentrated sulfuric acid, nitric acid) and phenol solvents.

Connector housing: high temperature plug-in resistance (long-term use temperature 120℃), anti-deformation (meeting dimensional stability of high-frequency signal transmission).
