The manufacturing process for magnesium alloy parts is as follows:
- Die casting molding: Magnesium alloys have a low melting point and good die casting forming properties. The minimum wall thickness of die castings can reach 0.5mm, making them suitable for manufacturing various types of automotive die castings.
- Extrusion molding: It is the main plastic processing method for magnesium alloys. However, traditional magnesium alloy extrusion rates are low. Through alloy composition design, various high-speed extruding magnesium alloys have been developed.

- Anodizing: It can obtain a coating base layer with better wear resistance and corrosion resistance than chemical conversion, and also has good adhesion, electrical insulation, and heat shock resistance.
- Electroplating and chemical plating: It can obtain superior corrosion resistance and electrical, electromagnetic, and decorative properties. Commonly used electroplated layers include Zn, Ni, etc., while the main chemical plated layers are Ni-P, Ni-W-P, etc.
