Folder product parameters and manufacturing process
1、 Product parameters
1. Material: High quality environmentally friendly materials are selected, mainly including kraft paper, copperplate paper, special paper, etc. Kraft paper is tough and tear resistant, with good load-bearing and durability, suitable for long-term storage of daily documents; Copperplate paper has a smooth surface, bright printing colors, and can present exquisite patterns and text; Specialty paper has unique textures and textures that can meet personalized needs.
2. Specifications: Common specifications include A4 (210mm × 297mm), A3 (297mm × 420mm), etc. Special sizes can also be customized according to customer needs. Different sizes of folders are suitable for files of different sizes, A4 size is suitable for most daily office files, and A3 size is suitable for larger sized drawings, posters, etc.
3. Color: Provides a wide range of color options, in addition to the regular basic colors such as white, black, blue, etc., customization can also be made according to the color code provided by the customer to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the color.
4. Thickness: The thickness varies depending on the material and purpose. The thickness of kraft paper folders is generally between 0.3-0.8mm, copperplate paper folders are usually 0.2-0.5mm thick, and special paper folders are determined according to the characteristics of the paper to ensure the stiffness and durability of the folder.
5. Capacity: The number of files that can be accommodated varies depending on the specifications and thickness. A regular A4 sized folder can generally hold 50-100 sheets of A4 paper, while thicker versions can hold even more.
2、 Production process
1. Printing process: Advanced printing equipment is used, supporting multiple printing methods such as offset printing, screen printing, digital printing, etc. Offset printing has full colors and rich layers, suitable for large-scale production; Screen printing has strong adhesion and can be printed on various materials, with bright and long-lasting colors; Digital printing has the characteristics of fast, efficient, and highly personalized, suitable for small batch and multi variety orders. Strictly control color deviation during the printing process to ensure that the printing effect is consistent with the design draft.
2. Processing technology:
• Die cutting: According to design requirements, use precision die cutting equipment to cut the paper, ensuring that the shape of the folder is neat and the size is accurate.
• Indentation: Apply indentation treatment at the folding point to make the folder fold smoothly, less prone to breakage, and enhance the three-dimensional sense of the folder.
Binding: Different binding methods are used according to the style of the folder, such as glue binding, saddle stitch binding, punching binding, etc. The adhesive is firm and beautiful, suitable for thick folders; Horse riding nail binding is easy to operate, cost-effective, and suitable for thin folders; Punching and binding facilitates the addition, removal, and replacement of documents.
Surface treatment: To enhance the texture and durability of the folder, surface treatment can be carried out, such as gluing (matte glue, glossy glue), hot stamping, silver stamping, etc UV、 Strike convex, strike concave, etc. Gluing can increase the wear resistance and waterproofness of paper; Hot stamping or silver stamping can make the text or patterns on the folder more prominent and high-end; UV technology can give patterns a strong sense of three dimensionality and glossiness; Striking convex and concave can enhance the texture and layering of the pattern.
Quality inspection process: In the production process, multiple quality inspection links are established to strictly inspect the size, color, printing quality, binding firmness, surface treatment effect, etc. of the folder to ensure that the product meets the quality standards. For non-conforming products, timely rework or scrapping should be carried out to ensure the qualification rate of the products leaving the factory.
