An Adhesive Layer: A specialized bonding agent (often a maleic anhydride grafted polymer) applied directly to the steel substrate to ensure exceptional adhesion between the metal and the outer plastic layers.

2. Precise and Flexible Material Application

The larger SJ65 extruder is ideally suited for applying the main, thick structural layer. The medium SJ45 extruder can handle the adhesive layer or a secondary functional layer. The smaller SJ35 extruder is perfect for applying a thin, precise functional or tie layer.

This configuration separates the melting and pumping duties for each material, leading to higher output rates compared to a single-extruder system. It also allows for the use of recycled material in the main structural layer while maintaining a 100% virgin, high-quality material for the critical inner adhesive or outer weatherable layer.
4. Superior Coating Quality and Adhesion
Co-extrusion ensures that the layers are applied hot and bonded together molecularly in a single, continuous process within the crosshead. This eliminates the risk of inter-layer contamination and creates a monolithic, delamination-resistant coating with superior bond strength compared to multiple-pass coating methods.
5. The steel pipe passes through two heating ovens for thorough heating, which can better allow the coating layer and adhesive layer to adhere to the steel pipe
6. The heated steel pipe passs through multiple layers of extrusion mold to complete the coating, and then directly enter the spray soaking cooling tank for rapid cooling and shaping
