1. Functions
1)Media Flow Direction Control:When the diaphragm pump is working, the rubber check valve seal gasket opens and closes automatically. It does this based on pressure changes in the pump cavity. When the diaphragm moves, it makes the pump cavity volume bigger and the pressure lower. At this time, the inlet rubber check valve seal gasket opens. This lets media flow into the cavity. The outlet rubber check valve seal gasket closes to stop media from flowing back. When the cavity volume gets smaller and the pressure goes up, the outlet rubber check valve seal gasket opens. This lets media be discharged. The inlet rubber check valve seal gasket closes to block media from flowing backward. This makes media transmit stably in one direction. This core function helps Sealed Fluid Direction Control Valves and Micro Sealed Hydraulic Pumps control fluids better.
2)Sealing Assurance:The rubber check valve seal gasket fits tightly against the valve seat. This forms a sealing surface. It stops media from leaking when the pressure in the pump cavity changes. This is very important when transferring certain media. Like corrosive, toxic, harmful, high-purity, flammable, or explosive media. It makes sure production is safe. It avoids environmental pollution. It also keeps the pump’s transfer efficiency good. It stops the flow from getting smaller because of leakage. Its sealing performance meets the strict standards of Diaphragms & Sealing Gaskets and Pressure Seal Components in critical media transfer scenarios.
2. Required Characteristics
1)Good Elasticity and Flexibility:The rubber check valve seal gasket has to open and close very often. So it must have excellent elasticity and flexibility. When under pressure, it should change shape to fit tightly against the valve seat for sealing. When the pressure changes, it should bounce back to its original shape quickly. This makes sure the opening and closing functions work normally. Also, it should not get damaged during long-term back-and-forth movement. This mechanical property is like the elastic requirements of Fluid-Tight Diaphragms in dynamic sealing applications.
2)Excellent Corrosion Resistance:Diaphragm pumps transfer many different kinds of media. A lot of these media are corrosive. The material of the rubber check valve seal gasket must be able to resist corrosion from the media it transfers. For example, when transferring acidic media, the rubber check valve seal gasket needs to be made of acid-resistant materials. When transferring alkaline media, it needs alkali-resistant materials. Common corrosion-resistant materials include fluoroelastomer and polytetrafluoroethylene. These materials meet the material standards of Sealing Elements for Valves in harsh chemical environments.
3)High Mechanical Strength:When the rubber check valve seal gasket is working, it not only bears the pressure of the media. It also endures frequent impact and friction. So it needs high tensile strength, tear resistance, and wear resistance. This stops it from cracking, wearing down too much, or having other problems during long-term use. It makes sure the pump works normally. This structural strength meets the durability requirements of Gasket & Membrane Assemblies in high-stress working conditions.
4)Precise Dimensional Accuracy:How well the rubber check valve seal gasket fits with the valve seat is critical to sealing performance. So the rubber check valve seal gasket must have precise dimensions. This makes sure it fits tightly with the valve seat. It reduces the chance of leakage. This precision meets the assembly standards of Sealed Diaphragm Pumps and Sealed Fluid Transfer Pumps.
5)Good Temperature Resistance:Two things affect the rubber check valve seal gasket: the temperature of the operating environment and the temperature of the media being transferred. It must keep stable physical and chemical properties within a certain temperature range. At high temperatures, it should not get soft, change shape, or get old. At low temperatures, it should not become brittle and lose elasticity. This ability to adapt to different temperatures meets the environmental resilience requirements of Pressure Seal Components in diverse industrial applications.
