DX54D+Z Alloyed Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel DX54D+Z is an alloyed hot-dip galvanized steel sheet, classified as cold-rolled or hot-rolled for stamping applications. In its name, "D" represents the hot-dip coating, "X" indicates cold-rolled or hot-rolled, "54" corresponds to the stamping grade (the higher the number, the better the performance), and "+Z" indicates the hot-dip galvanizing process. The base material is DC04 low-carbon steel, the zinc coating is designated Z100, and the surface is skin-passed to a spangle-free finish. The oil finish is Class B. This material is hot-dip galvanized and then alloyed at 500°C to form a zinc-iron alloy layer. The zinc layer contains 7%-15% iron, providing both corrosion resistance and workability. Its yield strength is ≥270 MPa, tensile strength ≥500 MPa, and elongation ≥22%. It is suitable for the manufacture of deep-drawn automotive parts, such as body structures, doors, and chassis, as well as for home appliance housings and building roofs. The production process includes cold-rolled substrate cleaning, zinc immersion plating, and alloying.
