The Passat is a new car, measuring 4948mm in length and with a 2871mm wheelbase. Its three-box design features a slightly sloping roofline. The XDS electronic differential lock makes steering more neutral, and the steering wheel is half a turn lighter than the older Used Car model.

The trunk has a 521L capacity with a low and well-proportioned opening. With the 4/6 split-folding folding down the seats, the depth reaches 2.1m, enough to seat two cars side-by-side. It features independent rear air conditioning, dual Type-C ports, and a 12V power outlet, making it comfortable for three people on long journeys. Compared to new energy vehicles, it eliminates the hassle of charging stations; compared to commercial MPVs, it offers more parking flexibility; and compared to used cars, it has a lower new car odor. The infotainment system and driver assistance features are all included, making it suitable for both urban commuting and long-distance business trips.
