The chassis features a MacPherson strut front suspension and a double wishbone rear suspension, with a ground clearance of 220mm, ensuring stability at high speeds and smooth driving on rough roads. The steering rack is the same as the WRX, with reduced play compared to the previous model.

The EyeSight driving system comes standard with adaptive cruise control, lane centering, and collision avoidance braking, and can recognize bicycles at night. The vehicle has a high proportion of imported parts, a regular maintenance interval of 10,000 kilometers, and high parts interchangeability with older models. While there are fewer repair shops, they have ample inventory. Compared to older used cars, the new model adds vehicle connectivity and driver assistance features; compared to commercial MPVs, it retains four-wheel drive and a compact size, making it suitable for both city commuting and weekend light off-roading.
