The Tiguan PRO is a new car, and SAIC Volkswagen's latest joint venture mid-size SUV that fully embodies the "intelligentization of a gasoline SUV." The 2025 model is 4735mm long with a 2791mm wheelbase, featuring a short front overhang and long wheelbase design, resulting in a drag coefficient of 0.32. The front fascia features a continuous light strip integrated with the IQ.Light matrix headlights, while the rear boasts sequential turn signals and an illuminated logo. While the floor hump is high, the backrest angle is gentle, making it comfortable for three people on long journeys. The trunk has a 471L capacity, expanding to 1.9m depth with the 4/6 split-folding folding down the seats, large enough to carry a surfboard horizontally. The space is more organized than other pure electric SUVs in the same price range, and the battery doesn't encroach on the floor.

The entire range is powered by a 380TSI high-power 2.0T engine, producing 162kW/350N·m, paired with a DQ501 seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. It achieves 0-100km/h in 7.6 seconds and a WLTC fuel consumption of 7-8L/100km, requiring only 92-octane gasoline. The chassis features a MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension, with optional DCC adaptive suspension offering two levels of adjustment for comfort and support. The steering feel is on the heavier side, providing stability at high speeds up to 120km/h. IQ.Pilot enhanced driving assistance supports highway/expressway navigation, autonomous on/off ramp entry and exit, high-curvature cornering, and lever-operated lane changing, offering an additional "near-Level 3" function compared to the older Tiguan, making city driving and long-distance cruising worry-free.

Compared to the older used car model, the new vehicle adds a passenger-side entertainment screen and Level 2+ driving assistance; compared to new energy vehicles, it eliminates the hassle of charging stations; compared to commercial MPVs, it retains coupe-like lines and all-wheel drive, making it suitable for city commuting, long-distance road trips, and light unpaved roads.
