The second-generation Haval H9 Warrior Edition is a new car, and Haval's sincere effort to bring a fully equipped "hardcore off-road" vehicle to the 210,000 RMB price range. It measures 5070×1960×1930 mm with a wheelbase of 2850 mm. Its boxy shape, blacked-out grille, and black wheels contribute to a drag coefficient of 0.39. The rear features a side-opening tailgate and an externally mounted spare tire, a departure angle of 26°, and while shorter than a used Prado, it's more agile than a commercially available Ford Transit with its short wheelbase, allowing for parking in underground garages without a U-turn.

The interior features a new Lava Red color scheme, a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, and a 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster, supporting four-zone voice control. The seats are perforated Nappa leather, with heated/ventilated/massaging front seats. The rear seatbacks are adjustable and can be folded down in a 4/6 split, creating a nearly flat floor, ensuring comfort for five people on long journeys. Powertrain options include a 2.0T gasoline engine and a 2.4T diesel engine: the gasoline engine delivers 165 kW/385 N·m + 8AT transmission, with a WLTC fuel consumption of 10.7 L/100 km; the diesel engine delivers 137 kW/490 N·m + 9AT transmission, equipped with a silicone oil fan, and a WLTC fuel consumption of 8.8 L/100 km. Both require 92-octane gasoline. The vehicle features a non-load-bearing frame, a double wishbone front suspension, and a solid rear axle. Standard features include TOD intelligent four-wheel drive, Mlock mechanical locking, and front and rear electronically controlled differential locks, forming a "three-lock" system. In 4L mode, torque is amplified by 2.64 times. With a wading depth of 800 mm and a crawl ratio of 54.12, it can still transfer power to one wheel even when escaping sandy conditions, offering greater mechanical reliability than pure electric new energy vehicles.

Compared to older used car models, the new vehicle features a passenger-side entertainment screen and L2 driver assistance; compared to commercial MPVs, it retains a non-load-bearing frame and a 2.5-ton towing capacity; compared to pure electric off-road vehicles, it can refuel in just 3 minutes and continue driving, making it suitable for city commuting, high-altitude travel, and towing caravans.
