The Arrizo 5 is a new car and a mainstay for Chery in the entry-level sedan segment. The 2025 model measures 4572×1825×1482 mm, with a wheelbase of 2670 mm and a drag coefficient of 0.32. The front features a harp-style grille integrated with LED daytime running lights, while the rear boasts a small ducktail spoiler and smoked taillights, giving it a more dynamic look than a used Jetta and a half-meter shorter length than a commercial Santana, making it easy to maneuver in alleyways.

Interior features a 9-inch floating touchscreen and a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster, supporting CarPlay. The entire range is powered by a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine, producing 85 kW/143 N·m, paired with either a 5-speed manual or CVT transmission. It boasts a combined fuel consumption of 6.2 L/100 km and requires only 92-octane gasoline. The chassis features a MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam rear suspension, with comfort-oriented springs that effectively filter bumps. The steering is on the heavier side, providing stability at high speeds up to 120 km/h. IQ.Drive driver assistance is standard across the range, including adaptive cruise control (ACC), lane keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking, making city driving and highway cruising worry-free.

Compared to older used car models, the new car adds a digital instrument cluster and connected car features; compared to new energy vehicles, it eliminates the hassle of charging stations; and compared to commercial MPVs, it maintains the low center of gravity and compact size of a sedan, making it suitable for family use, commuting, and long-distance travel.
