The Haval Dargo Plus is a new car, and Great Wall Motors' latest masterpiece in bringing the "pan-off-road" concept to the family SUV segment. Its boxy body (4705×1908×1780 mm) paired with a 2810 mm wheelbase and a drag coefficient of 0.35, along with the closed front grille and illuminated "HAVAL" logo, gives it a strong retro feel. The black wheel arches with exposed rivets maintain its rugged look, while the newly added "GWM" lettering at the rear makes it resemble a miniature Defender from a distance. The Hi4 version boasts a combined system output of 233kW, a pure electric range of 85km (CLTC), and a fuel consumption of 5.5L/100km when the battery is depleted. It requires only 92-octane gasoline. Featuring BorgWarner's sixth-generation electronically controlled four-wheel drive and a rear axle locking differential, this vehicle can still concentrate all torque on a single wheel for single-wheel traction in sandy terrain, offering more off-road capability than pure electric new energy vehicles.

Compared to older used car models, the new vehicle adds a passenger-side entertainment screen and L2+ highway NOH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) capability; compared to commercial MPVs, it retains its compact size and differential lock; compared to hybrid vehicles in its class, it offers a rare combination of 2.0T engine, 9-speed automatic transmission, and rear differential lock in its price range (around 110,000 RMB), making it suitable for city commuting, weekend camping, and high-altitude expeditions, subtly showcasing its "family-friendly off-road capability."
