What is GPO-3 material? Applications of GPO-3. GPO-3 laminate is a novel electrical insulation material, also known as UPGM203, composed of alkali-free glass fibre mat impregnated with unsaturated polyester resin.

What is GPO-3 material? Applications of GPO-3. GPO3 laminate is a novel electrical insulation material, also known as UPGM203. It is a rigid insulating material formed by impregnating alkali-free glass fibre matt with unsaturated polyester paste, adding appropriate additives, and then hot-pressing. Hony Plastic specialises in manufacturing and supplying electrical insulation materials, including self-produced GPO3 insulating laminates. GPO3 Laminate Characteristics:

1. Arc resistance (exceeding 180 seconds)

2. Excellent tracking resistance (CTI 600V)

3. Temperature rating: 155°C

4. Flame retardancy: 94-V0 rating 5. High mechanisation and automation levels, ensuring stable product quality.

Applications of GPO-3 Laminated Board:

1. Circuit Breaker Applications

(1) Frame-type circuit breakers: Safety baffles, protective shields, compartment spacers, phase separators, etc.

(2) Applications in moulded-case circuit breakers: Phase separators, arc-extinguishing chamber separators, etc.

2. Motor and generator applications: Armature components, movable cover plates, slot wedge stators, stator shims, thin shims, carbon brush plates

3. Switchgear applications: Front, rear, top, bottom, and phase separators within partition systems

4. Suitable for switchgear partitions, liners, arc-extinguishing hoods, cylinders, plates, arc-isolating plates, terminal boards, phase insulation, base partitions, contact supports; structural supports for switches and transformers, busbar clamps, etc.
