SKYSIL S10A HYDROPHOBIC SILICA

S10A is professional grade hydrophobic silica powder, well refined for formulation use in defoamers and industrial lubricants. All physical and

chemical indicators are stably controlled to fit daily production and long-term application needs.

1. Reliable purity level

Its silicon dioxide content reaches above 97% on dry basis. We keep heavy metal content under 0.001mg/kg and sodium sulfate content below 1.0%.

Such low impurity level can effectively prevent metal part corrosion, and fully meet usage requirements for mechanical lubricants and new energy vehicle

related products.

2. Stable hydrophobic performance

The product loss on ignition is controlled within 8.0%, with drying loss no more than 4.0%. Proper surface treatment brings steady water repellent effect,

and the powder will not easily gather or harden even stored in humid environment, keeping original using performance all the time.

3. Moderate surface area and particle size

Measured specific surface area ranges from 50 to 70 square meters per gram, which helps achieve steady defoaming effect without causing excessive

thickening. The average particle size stays between 5.0 and 7.0 microns, allowing easy and even mixing inside different base materials.

4. Easy for practical processing

Tapped density is fixed at 130-150g/L. The powder features proper loose degree, which makes dry material mixing more even. It also helps cut down air

content during high speed stirring, greatly improving finished product stability.

5. Good system adaptability

The pH value is maintained at 6.5 to 7.5, belonging to mild neutral range. It will not cause chemical changes inside lubricant formulas, can slow down

oil oxidation speed, and match well with most common raw materials in regular industrial formulas.
