Product Description

Oil filter, also known as oil tray. It is used to remove impurities such as dust, metal particles, carbon sediment and soot particles from oil and protect the engine. Oil filter has full flow and split type. The full-flow filter is connected in series between the oil pump and the main oil channel, so it can filter out all the lubricating oil into the main oil channel. The shunt cleaner is connected in parallel with the main oil channel to filter only part of the lubricating oil sent from the oil pump.

The function of the oil filter is to filter out these mechanical impurities and colloid, keep the lubricating oil clean and extend its service life. The oil filter should have strong filtration capacity, small circulation resistance, long service life and other properties. In general lubrication system, there are several filters with different filtration capacity -- set filter, coarse filter and fine filter, respectively in parallel or series in the main oil passage. (in series with the main oil channel is called the full-flow filter, the lubricating oil is filtered by the filter when the engine is working; Parallel with the shunt type filter). The crude filter is connected in series in the main oil passage, which is full flow; The fine filter is connected in parallel in the main oil passage and is split type. Modern car engines are generally equipped only with a filter collector and a full flow oil filter. The crude filter filters the impurities with a particle size of more than 0.05mm in the oil, and the fine filter is used to filter the fine impurities with a particle size of more than 0.001mm.
