This is a 2-stage valve consisting of solenoid pilot stage and main stage with balanced piston.
 
- De-energized state: Pilot valve closes, pressure builds up on main valve upper chamber, main valve remains closed for system pressure holding.
- Pressure regulation & relief: When system pressure reaches set value, pilot valve opens to relieve pressure on main valve upper chamber, then main valve opens to stabilize system pressure via oil relief.
- Solenoid unloading (energized): Solenoid switches position, pilot circuit connects to tank, main valve fully opens for low-pressure system unloading.

3. Operating Principle

      • If the system pressure does not reach the pilot valve's set value, the main valve port stays closed, allowing hydraulic fluid to supply system actuators normally and maintain stable operation.
  2. Pressure Relief and Stabilization:
      • When the system pressure rises to the pilot valve's preset level, the pilot valve activates, altering the pressure in the main valve's upper chamber and opening the main valve port to the appropriate degree.
      • Excess hydraulic fluid flows back to the tank through the main valve port, stabilizing the system pressure at the pilot valve's set value and preventing overload.
  3. Unloading Control:
      • When the solenoid is energized or de-energized (as per system configuration), the 2-position, 2-way solenoid valve operates, connecting a specific part of the pilot valve to the tank.
      • The main valve's upper chamber loses pilot valve pressure control, causing the main valve spool to open and allowing hydraulic fluid from the source to return to the tank at extremely low unloading pressure, achieving rapid system unloading.
      • The valve returns to normal pressure relief and stabilization mode when the solenoid is reset.
  4. Manual Override Operation:
      • The valve is equipped with a non-locking manual adjustment mechanism for emergency operation or maintenance. In case of electromagnetic control failure, manual operation allows pressure adjustment to ensure hydraulic system functionality under special conditions.
