Conversely, its resistance to abrasion and scratches is inferior to that of laminated sheets, making scratches more visible. It is predominantly used for internal components or non-decorative surfaces where aesthetic requirements are less critical—such as refrigerator side panels, washing machine casings, outdoor air conditioner units, and small appliance housings—benefiting from a mature manufacturing process, low production costs, and a more competitive price point.
