Huizhou Antenk Electronics Co., Ltd. (IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001 certified) presents the 2.00mm Pin Header Dual Row Straight Type with an ultra low height of 4.0mm. This compact male header features a 2.00mm pitch, dual row configuration, and straight vertical pins, designed for close board to board stacking in space constrained electronics. The reduced 4.0mm height (from insulator base to pin tip) allows a mating gap of only 5.5mm when paired with a corresponding female header, ideal for slim portable devices. The insulator is molded from high temperature UL94 V-0 PBT or nylon 6/6, providing excellent dimensional stability and heat resistance up to 260°C soldering. Contacts are stamped from phosphor bronze with selective gold or tin plating on the mating area and pure tin on the solder tails. Key specifications include current rating 2A per contact, contact resistance below 20 milliohms, insulation resistance above 1000 megohms, dielectric strength 500V AC, and operating temperature from -40 to +105 degrees Celsius. The straight orientation ensures perpendicular PCB mounting and easy alignment with dual row female sockets. RoHS and REACH compliant, UL recognized under E472792.
 
Applications include ultra thin laptops, tablet PCs, portable medical monitors, compact power modules, handheld instruments, and any device where vertical height is at a premium. Usage method: solder the through hole tails to the PCB using wave or hand soldering. The low profile allows stacking two PCBs with minimal interboard distance. Mate with a 2.00mm dual row female header of matching height. Precautions: do not exceed 2A per contact, ensure proper pin alignment before soldering, avoid excessive insertion force (recommended 1.5N per contact max). Advantages over competitors: Antenks 4.0mm height is 20 percent lower than standard 2.00mm headers (typically 5.0mm), enabling thinner product designs. Tight pin coplanarity within 0.05mm ensures even soldering, and the high temperature plastic prevents deformation during reflow. Low MOQs of 1000 units with no tooling fees for standard pin counts.
 
Production process: in house mold design with low profile cavity, injection molding on 10 Japanese and Taiwanese machines, high speed stamping of pins on 9 presses, selective gold or tin plating, automated pin insertion, 100 percent pin coplanarity and height inspection, contact resistance and insulation tests, 48 hour salt spray test, and final QC with lot traceability.
