Yellow POM-C rod is produced by extrusion molding process. Virgin copolymer POM raw material is blended evenly with Yellow color masterbatch, melted at high temperature and continuously extruded through a special round die. After sizing, cooling, shaping, traction and cutting, round rods of standard lengths are obtained. Temperature, extrusion speed and sizing pressure are strictly controlled during production to reduce internal stress, ensure uniform diameter tolerance and avoid deformation after machining.
What is Yellow POM-C Rod?
Yellow POM-C rod is extruded solid round bar made of copolymer polyoxymethylene (copolymer acetal), coloured with Yellow pigment. Compared with POM-H homopolymer acetal, it has better hydrolysis resistance, alkali resistance and creep resistance, with good toughness and thermal stability. It features low friction, self-lubrication, low water absorption and high dimensional stability, easy for precision CNC turning and milling. It complies with RoHS and REACH, widely used for automation sliders, guide pins, gears, bushings, conveyor rollers and machinery components. Yellow POM-C rod is normally non-food grade.
