Manufactured by Huizhou Antenk Electronics Co., Ltd, the FCDS02 series 2.54mm pitch single side contact IDC socket with strain relief structure is a professional insulation displacement connector for fast flat ribbon cable wiring without wire stripping. In accordance with engineering drawing specifications, this connector supports contact counts ranging from 6 pins up to 60 pins with standard 2.54mm pitch, divided into Type 1 without anti reverse bump and Type 2 equipped with positioning bump to avoid misinsertion during assembly. The insulating housing is molded from PBT material filled with 30 percent glass fiber that complies with UL94V-0 flame retardant standard, and can be customized into black and gray two mainstream colors. Contact terminals are stamped from high elasticity phosphor bronze material, with gold flash, multiple thickness selective gold plating and tin plating surface options to lower contact resistance and boost oxidation resistance. Its electrical performance includes 1.0A rated current, minimum 1000MΩ insulation resistance and maximum 20mΩ contact resistance, enduring 500V AC DC dielectric withstand voltage and operating reliably within the temperature range from minus 40°C to plus 105°C. Optional strain relief design effectively reduces wire pulling force damage to terminals. This IDC socket connector is available with tray, bag, tube and tape reel four packaging modes to adapt to manual assembly and fully automatic production lines. Operators insert the through-hole pins into reserved holes on printed circuit boards following the official PCB layout drawing and complete wave soldering fixation, then use dedicated crimping tools to press flat ribbon cables into the IDC clamping slots, so the sharp single-side contact terminals pierce cable insulation and form stable electrical connection directly. It is widely applied in industrial control backplane wiring, communication equipment internal signal circuits, digital display modules, smart household control mainboards, portable data storage devices and precision testing instrumentation. During crimping and application, users must apply uniform crimping pressure to prevent terminal bending and fracture, reasonably select bump version to prevent reverse wiring, and store unused connectors in dry sealed packaging to avoid phosphor bronze contacts from rusting and deterioration.
