For certain high-end applications, 201 stainless steel may be selected as a cost-effective alternative. Coating System A standard combination of epoxy primer and fluorocarbon topcoat is typically employed to ensure superior corrosion resistance and weatherability. Where anti-fingerprint properties are required, an acrylic-modified anti-fingerprint coating can be applied to form a transparent protective film (2–6 nm thick), meeting requirements for over 48 hours of salt spray resistance. Core Manufacturing Process The substrate undergoes pretreatment—including degreasing, pickling, and phosphating—followed by coating application within 24 hours, with the dry film thickness controlled between 120 and 320 μm. After coating, double-sided PE protective film is applied to prevent surface scratches or contamination throughout the process.
