Product details

The main difficulties in processing such aviation-grade slender structural components lie in insufficient rigidity and control of high consistency. What we do for this project:

1), Raw material preparation: Select aviation-grade aluminum alloys (such as 7075-T651 / 7050), cut materials according to process allowances, and confirm the incoming material's quality and state.

2), Rough Machining (CNC Rough Machining): Perform rough machining of contours, cavities, and weight-reducing holes on 3-axis or 5-axis CNC machines, adopting a symmetrical material removal strategy, and retaining finishing allowances to control deformation.

3), Semi-Finishing: Complete the formation of main structural features, further release internal stress, stabilize the geometric shape of parts, and establish a reliable benchmark for finishing.

4), Finishing (5-Axis CNC Finishing): Use 5-axis CNC for one-time or few-time clamping to finish key mounting surfaces, hole positions, steps, and complex curved surfaces, ensuring hole position accuracy, flatness, and assembly consistency.

5), Drilling / Tapping: Finish-machine positioning holes, assembly holes, and threaded holes, controlling hole diameter accuracy, perpendicularity, and effective thread depth.

6), Deburring and Chamfering: Combine manual work with precision tools to remove edge burrs, unify chamfer sizes, and prevent assembly scratches and stress concentration.

7), Surface Treatment:Perform anodizing (natural color or hard anodizing) to improve corrosion resistance and surface wear resistance, and conduct sealing treatment.

Quality Inspection:Inspect key hole positions and geometric tolerances through CMM, combined with in-process inspection and final inspection, to ensure compliance with aviation assembly requirements. If high complex process, we will control by SPC flow.
