18mm White POM-C Sheet (Copolymer Acetal Sheet), extruded from 100% virgin resin. It features excellent self-lubrication, low friction coefficient and outstanding wear resistance. What is White POM-C Sheet?
White POM-C sheet is an engineering plastic sheet extruded from copolymer polyoxymethylene (POM-C / Acetal Copolymer) with natural white color. The copolymer structure delivers better hydrolysis resistance, chemical resistance and stress-cracking resistance than homopolymer POM-H. It keeps typical advantages of POM: low friction coefficient, self-lubrication, excellent wear resistance, high rigidity, low water absorption and good dimensional stability, easy to machine. Standard non-ESD grade is insulating with UL94 HB flammability rating, ROHS and REACH compliant. It is commonly machined into sliders, guide rails, gears, bushings and food equipment components.
Manufacturing Process
White POM-C sheet is produced by extrusion molding process. Virgin copolymer POM raw material (natural color, no extra color masterbatch added) is melted at high temperature and continuously extruded through a special sheet die. After calendering, cooling, shaping, traction and cutting, sheets of standard sizes are obtained. Temperature, extrusion speed and calendering pressure are strictly controlled during production to reduce internal stress, ensure uniform thickness tolerance and avoid deformation after machining.
