K3V112DT Hydraulic Piston Pump
1. Product Overview
K3V112DT is Kawasaki tandem variable swashplate hydraulic piston pump, serving as the core power component of excavator hydraulic system.
This series pump adopts twin tandem pump construction, without PTO power take-off port, which distinguishes it from K3V112DTP series (with PTO port). Various suffix codes (9C32, HNOV, 9N24 etc.) represent different regulator configurations, port layout, shaft specifications for different brands of excavators. High-quality interchange aftermarket hydraulic pump can be used as cost-effective replacement spare parts for equipment maintenance and overhaul.
Model Code Explanation
- K3V: Kawasaki open-circuit tandem axial piston pump series
- 112: Theoretical displacement of each single pump: 112 cc/rev
- D: Dual tandem pump structure
- T: Tandem layout
- No letter P: Without PTO power take-off interface
- Suffix code (9C32 / HNOV /9N24): Custom configuration for regulator, flange, oil port and shaft parameters

3. Working Principle
The engine drives the main shaft and cylinder block assembly to rotate. The reciprocating motion of pistons realizes oil suction and high-pressure oil discharge inside the hydraulic piston pump.
The built-in servo piston automatically adjusts the tilt angle of swashplate according to load feedback signals from the hydraulic system, changing pump displacement to regulate output flow.
Without reserved PTO port, auxiliary pumps such as pilot pump are independently mounted in hydraulic circuit. Negative flow control optimizes power matching between engine and hydraulic system, effectively reducing overflow energy loss and fuel consumption during excavation operations.
4. Core Advantages
1. Compact tandem double pump structure, specially designed for excavator models without demand for PTO power output.
2. Robust cast pump housing and high power density, stable high-pressure output, suitable for continuous heavy-duty excavation conditions.
3. Precisely machined internal friction pairs, low internal leakage, stable volumetric efficiency under long-hour continuous operation.
4. Optimized flow distribution structure, low vibration and low operating noise.
5. Multiple configuration options for different excavator brands; installation dimensions fully consistent with original Kawasaki pump, plug-and-play direct replacement without pipeline modification.
6. Mature aftermarket manufacturing, shorter delivery time and competitive price compared with original OEM pumps.
5. Application Range
Universal 20-ton class crawler excavator main hydraulic pump platform
Matching configuration variants for different machine brands:
- K3V112DT-9C32: Sany SY205/SY215/SY225/SY235
- K3V112DT-HNOV: Sumitomo SH200-5, SH210-5
- K3V112DT-9N24: Doosan DX225LC, DX230LC
Other 20-ton excavators adopting K3V112DT base hydraulic system.
6. Common Faults & Replacement Suggestion
Typical failures: Insufficient digging force, slow boom & arm movement, excessive internal leakage, abnormal knocking noise, shaft seal oil leakage of the hydraulic pump.
Thoroughly flush hydraulic pipelines and replace all hydraulic filter elements before installation. Strictly control the cleanliness of hydraulic oil in the hydraulic system. Replace the complete pump assembly if cylinder block, piston shoes and valve plate suffer severe abrasion.
