1. Product Overview

HSV08-220-00 is a 08-port normally-closed solenoid threaded cartridge valve for compact hydraulic circuits. It stays closed under power-off conditions and opens when energized to switch oil flow paths. Designed to pair perfectly with HP08-00 manual hydraulic pumps and other 08-series cartridge valves, it is widely used in construction machinery, small hydraulic tooling, agricultural machinery and mobile equipment for basic on-off loop control.

HSV08-220-00 Normally-Closed Threaded Cartridge Valve is a high-performance Hydraulic valve. As a standard screw-in CARTRIDGE VALVE, it serves as a key control component inside the hydraulic system. This two-position two-way poppet-type valve adopts threaded installation and can be directly assembled into integrated manifold blocks, simplifying pipeline layout and making the whole hydraulic system more compact. In power-off status, the valve remains closed to block oil flow, effectively realizing circuit cut-off and load holding functions for the hydraulic system.

3. Working Principle

When the solenoid coil is unpowered, the internal spool is held against the seat by spring force to block the flow passage. Once the coil is energized, electromagnetic force overcomes spring preload to shift the spool and open the oil path for medium circulation. Cutting power releases the electromagnetic force, and the spring resets the spool to close the passage instantly for reliable flow shutoff.
