There have three wavelengths for UV fused silica for choosing accordingly applications

*Ultraviolet Fused Silica JGS1 Spectral Range 185-2500nm, it transparent in the ultraviolet and visible region.

*Fused Silica JGS2 window has a spectral range of 200-2500nm

*Fused Silica JGS3 window has a spectral range of 260-3500nm

UV Fused Silica Window is the standard bearer for UV/VIS applications. Compared to Optical Glass, Fused Silica can be used at higher temperatures (up to 1050ºC) and at wavelengths deeper into the UV range (180nm). With excellent chemical resistance, resistance to thermal shock, hardness and durability, this is a common choice for aerospace, scientific instrumentation and industrial applications.

Advantages of UV Fused Silica Window

High transmittance: UV fused silica windows have very high transmittance in the spectral range from ultraviolet to infrared, suitable for applications requiring high optical transparency.
Low absorption and scattering: UV fused silica windows have very low absorption and scattering characteristics for ultraviolet, especially deep ultraviolet (DUV), which makes it very suitable for UV laser processing and other occasions requiring high-precision optical performance.
Excellent chemical stability: UV fused silica windows are resistant to corrosion by most chemicals, except hydrofluoric acid, and can maintain their surface characteristics and optical properties.
Good thermal stability: With good thermal stability, they can maintain dimensional stability over a wide temperature range and are not easily deformed by temperature changes.
High mechanical strength: Compared with other types of glass materials, UV fused silica windows have higher mechanical strength and wear resistance, and can withstand higher pressure and wear.
Low thermal expansion coefficient: This means that the material's dimensions change very little when the temperature changes, which is very important for optical systems that require precise control of dimensional stability
