Optical Brightener OB-1 (C.I. 393, CAS 1533-45-5) is one of the most popular high-temperature resistant fluorescent whitening agents used in the plastics and chemical fiber industries. Featuring a high melting point at 355-359℃, this brightener offers excellent thermal stability during high-heat manufacturing processes. It remains stable and does not decompose, turn yellow or produce spots during extrusion, injection molding and masterbatch granulation, making it highly reliable for various high-temperature production environments.

OB-1 provides extremely high whitening performance with very low addition rates. It effectively eliminates the natural yellow hue of plastic and fiber materials, significantly improving the surface brightness and presenting a clean, comfortable blue-white tone on finished products. Compared with ordinary brighteners, it has lower volatility, better weather resistance and superior light fastness, ensuring long-term whitening effects without fading or discoloration after long-term use.
