The unit is air cooled and needs no water line, which matters on remote sites where utilities are scarce.
As a flameproof rotary screw air compressor, the FB-20A is built in the same Shenzhen factory as the standard OSMAN range, so service parts and technical support follow the same path as the rest of the fleet. Typical installations include solvent handling rooms, coating and painting lines, chemical batching areas, and facilities that store flammable liquids. A:The mechanical compression part is largely the same. The difference is electrical: the motor is a flameproof unit, the control box is an Ex-rated enclosure, and surface temperatures are held inside the rated temperature class. A standard machine can produce an ignition-capable spark or hot surface; the explosion-proof version is designed so it cannot.
