PAF Series Pre‑pressure Air Filter is a specialized tank‑mounted FILTER for industrial hydraulic system and hydraulic‑driven Machine. Mounted on the top of hydraulic oil reservoir, this breather FILTER integrates pre‑pressure valve and filtration function. It not only filters incoming air to block dust and impurities, but also maintains slight positive pressure inside the oil tank, which is a key protection component for the hydraulic system and working Machine.
This FILTER can prevent external dust, moisture and pollutants from entering the tank while keeping stable internal tank pressure. It avoids oil suction‑cavitation damage to hydraulic pumps, reduces oil oxidation risk, and extends service life of core parts inside the hydraulic system, lowering failure rate of the whole Machine. Working Principle
When the Machine is in operation, the oil level of hydraulic tank fluctuates with the working cycle of the hydraulic system. The PAF pre‑pressure air FILTER keeps a slight positive pressure inside the tank via the built‑in pressure‑regulating valve.
When oil level drops, outside air passes through the FILTER element, dust and solid contaminants are intercepted before air enters the reservoir. When oil level rises, excess internal air is vented out through the breather. The pre‑pressure structure prevents negative vacuum pressure inside the tank, which effectively avoids pump cavitation and air‑entrainment inside the hydraulic system.
The filter element is a consumable part. Users only need to replace the inner filter element instead of the whole FILTER, to retain filtration and pre‑pressure performance of the hydraulic system, and cut maintenance cost of the Machine.
