Product Overview

EDG Direct-acting Proportional Relief Valve is a high-precision electro-hydraulic Hydraulic valve, designed for pilot pressure control of the hydraulic system of industrial Machine. This Hydraulic valve adopts direct poppet structure, which can continuously adjust the relief pressure linearly according to the electrical input signal. It matches with proportional amplifier to realize stepless pressure regulation of the hydraulic system. Widely used as pilot pressure regulating valve, it stabilizes and limits the system pressure of small-flow hydraulic circuits, protecting the whole Machine from overpressure damage.

The EDG series (EDG-01) is plate mounting type, mainly used for pilot oil circuit pressure control rather than main high-flow circuit. Working Principle

When the Machine is running, the controller sends adjustable electrical signal to this Hydraulic valve. The proportional solenoid generates electromagnetic force proportional to the signal value and acts directly on the poppet against the spring. When hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic system exceeds the set pressure, the poppet lifts to release excess oil and limit system pressure. By changing the input electric signal, the electromagnetic force changes, so the relief pressure can be adjusted continuously. If the electric signal is cut off, the valve returns to the default pressure state, safeguarding the hydraulic system and the Machine.
