Product Overview

XU-B Series Notched Wire Filter is a classic coarse FILTER mounted at the suction inlet of hydraulic pumps, serving as the primary protective component for the hydraulic system of industrial Machine. This notched wire type FILTER adopts tightly wound copper wire on the metal frame to form precise clearance gaps, intercepting large solid contaminants inside hydraulic oil before oil enters the hydraulic pump. It effectively prevents abrasive particles from damaging pump gears, pistons and other precision components of the Machine.

Multiple flow specifications are available for XU-B series, including 16,32,50,80,160,200 L/min. The FILTER features low pressure drop and high oil passing capacity. Optional self-sealing valve and bypass valve can be equipped to protect the hydraulic system and simplify maintenance of the Machine. The wire-wound element can be cleaned and reused repeatedly, reducing long-term operating cost.

Working Principle

When the Machine starts running, hydraulic oil from the tank flows into the XU-B Notched Wire FILTER. The gaps formed by tightly wound notched copper wire trap solid contaminants such as metal chips, sand and rubber fragments. Clean hydraulic oil flows through the FILTER and enters the suction port of hydraulic pump.

With the accumulation of impurities, the pressure difference increases. If equipped with bypass valve, it will open automatically to avoid pump cavitation and keep the hydraulic system running continuously. The wire-wound filter element can be taken out and cleaned directly instead of frequent replacement.
