Product Overview

WF Hydraulic Suction Filter is a compact submerged coarse FILTER, serving as the primary protective component for the hydraulic system of industrial Machine. It can be mounted on the top, side or bottom of hydraulic oil tank, with filter cylinder submerged under oil level and filter head exposed outside the tank. It intercepts large solid contaminants before hydraulic oil enters the hydraulic pump, protecting pump gears, pistons and other precision parts of the Machine from abrasive wear.

This FILTER is equipped with optional self‑sealing valve, bypass valve and clogging indicator. The self‑sealing valve can block oil flow when replacing filter element, avoiding oil spill from the tank and simplifying maintenance of the Machine. Multiple thread connection sizes are available to match different hydraulic power units and industrial Machine. Metal filter element can be cleaned and reused, reducing operating cost of the hydraulic system.

Working Principle

When the Machine starts, hydraulic pump draws oil from oil tank. Hydraulic oil flows through WF suction FILTER. Metal chips, rubber debris and dust particles are trapped by the metal filter element, clean oil flows into pump suction port.

As dirt accumulates on filter element, vacuum degree rises. If fitted with bypass valve, it opens automatically at preset vacuum to avoid pump cavitation and keep the hydraulic system running continuously. The self‑sealing valve will close automatically when filter head is removed, preventing oil leakage during filter element replacement. The metal cartridge can be taken out, cleaned and reused for the Machine.
