Product Overview
GP Series Magnetic Return Filter is a tank-top installed return-line FILTER, developed for the hydraulic system of industrial Machine. Mounted on the cover of hydraulic oil tank, this FILTER combines filter medium and permanent magnetic assembly. It purifies return hydraulic oil coming back from the working loop of the Machine, intercepting solid particles and adsorbing ferromagnetic metal wear debris generated inside the hydraulic system. Clean oil flows back into the tank to avoid repeated contamination of hydraulic components.
This FILTER integrates a built-in bypass valve, with optional clogging indicator. When the filter element accumulates contaminants, the bypass valve opens automatically to prevent excessive back pressure and guarantee normal operation of the hydraulic system. Multiple flow specifications and filtration precision grades are available to match various hydraulic power stations and industrial Machine.

Working Principle
When the Machine is in operation, hydraulic oil after driving actuators flows back to the oil tank through the GP magnetic return FILTER. Non-magnetic solid impurities are blocked by the filter medium, while fine iron powder and metal shavings are firmly captured by the built-in high-strength magnetic rod. Purified hydraulic oil enters the oil tank.
As dirt accumulates on the filter element, the pressure difference rises. Once pressure reaches 0.3 MPa, the optional clogging indicator will trigger a warning signal to remind maintenance. If the Machine cannot stop immediately, the built-in bypass valve opens at 0.35 MPa, allowing oil to bypass the filter cartridge temporarily. This prevents excessive back pressure and protects the whole hydraulic system. During maintenance, you can take out the filter element and magnetic rod for cleaning directly from the tank top without draining all hydraulic oil.
