Manufactured using medical-grade PVC resin, this material contains no recycled content and is odorless; impurities are strictly controlled, and levels of heavy metals and residual solvents meet regulatory standards. It has passed biocompatibility testing, ensuring safety for direct contact with pharmaceuticals. The transparent version offers ≥90% light transmission, facilitating visual inspection of the drug's appearance, color, and integrity, thereby boosting confidence in the medication. Colored versions (available in blue, brown, green, etc.) can be customized to provide light protection, product differentiation, and brand identification, making them suitable for light-sensitive drugs and distinctive packaging designs.

At a thickness of 0.25mm, the material offers balanced mechanical properties; its tensile strength, impact resistance, and rigidity are optimized for thermoforming processes. It allows for rapid blister formation within standard temperature ranges, resulting in uniform cavities and crisp edges without deformation, collapse, or breakage. It ensures stable heat-sealing strength with PTP aluminum foil and a tight seal, effectively blocking moisture, oxygen, and dust to extend the drug's shelf life. The sheet surface is smooth and free of gel particles (fish-eyes) or air bubbles. With high slitting precision and customizable roll diameters and widths, it is compatible with fully automatic blister packaging machines, ensuring smooth material flow without jamming or misalignment, thereby enhancing production efficiency.

Transparent/colored rigid PVC plastic sheet (0.25mm pharmaceutical blister grade) is a pharmaceutical packaging material produced via calendering or extrusion using sanitary-grade PVC resin as the primary raw material. It is primarily used for the blister packaging of solid dosage forms such as tablets and capsules.

0.25mm is a standard thickness for pharmaceutical rigid PVC sheets; the statutory thickness range is 0.20–0.40mm, with an allowable tolerance of ±0.02mm. Transparent types emphasize high light transmission and minimal gel particles to facilitate visual inspection, while colored types (red, blue, white, etc.) are used for brand differentiation, anti-counterfeiting, or light protection. As a packaging material in direct contact with pharmaceuticals, it must comply with the YBB00212005-2015 standard for "Rigid PVC Sheets for Solid Pharmaceuticals": residual vinyl chloride monomer ≤1 ppm; water vapor transmission rate ≤2.5 g/(m²·24h); oxygen transmission rate ≤30 cm³/(m²·24h·0.1 MPa); longitudinal and transverse tensile strength ≥44 MPa; heat-sealing strength ≥7.0 N/15 mm; and thermal shrinkage/expansion rate controlled within ±6%. Regarding appearance, the color must be uniform, and the material must be free from oil stains, pinholes, and impurities; "fish-eyes" (gel particles) larger than 1.3 mm are not permitted.

In terms of forming, the 0.25 mm thickness is suitable for use with Alu-PVC blister packaging machines and is designed for heat-sealing with PTP aluminum foil.
