Our tea is harvested from ancient tea trees grown on Lahu Mountain, Yunnan. The high-altitude mountain garden features fertile soil and a mild, humid climate. Old tea trees grow slowly, accumulating rich nutrients inside the leaves. Local Lahu ethnic farmers hand-pick fresh tea leaves following traditional standards.
We select tender fresh leaves from ancient trees. Adopting special anaerobic fermentation technology to produce high-GABA oolong. After withering, shaking, oxidation and fixation, the tea leaves are compressed into compact round cakes. This pressing process helps preserve the tea flavour for long-term storage.
This 100g GABA Oolong cake is neatly pressed. Dry tea leaves show mixed dark brown and silver-white bud hairs, with complete leaf strips. The wrapping paper features elegant ethnic Lahu style printing, marked with Lahu Mountain and GABA Oolong Tea, simple and premium.
The brewed tea liquor presents bright golden amber colour, clear and translucent. The texture is smooth and full-bodied. It carries soft, gentle fragrance with sweet lingering aftertaste. Mellow and mild on palate, no harsh bitterness.
