TM03 FINAL DRIVE Travel Assembly is a complete hydraulic travel drive unit widely used on mini excavators. As a core hydraulic power component, this Travel Assembly integrates hydraulic travel motor and planetary reduction gearbox in one compact housing. It converts hydraulic power into torque to drive the tracks of construction Machine. Paired with SWING REDUCER for rotation function, the FINAL DRIVE handles the forward, backward and braking movement of the machine. Working Principle

Hydraulic oil enters the piston motor of the FINAL DRIVE Travel Assembly. The motor generates rotary power, then the multi-stage planetary gear set amplifies torque and reduces rotating speed to drive the crawler track. The built-in mechanical brake locks the output shaft when hydraulic pressure drops, preventing the machine from sliding on slopes. While the FINAL DRIVE Travel Assembly controls crawler movement, the SWING REDUCER works separately to deliver torque for the upper house rotation. Both components are critical to the excavator’s full hydraulic system.
