Product Overview

TM07 FINAL DRIVE Travel Assembly is integrated hydraulic travel motor & planetary reducer assembly, also known as travel device for 5–6 ton mini crawler excavators. It converts hydraulic power from the hydraulic system into high torque low-speed rotation to drive track movement of the Machine. This unit combines variable two-speed hydraulic motor and multi-stage planetary gear reducer in one compact housing. While FINAL DRIVE handles crawler travel, SWING REDUCER is the separate unit for upper structure rotation.

Working Principle

High-pressure oil enters the hydraulic motor inside Travel Assembly, pushing piston groups to rotate motor shaft. The motor high-speed low-torque power transmits to multi-stage planetary gear set inside FINAL DRIVE. Planetary reducer amplifies torque and reduces speed to drive sprocket and track. Two-speed valve automatically switches between high-speed travel for moving and low-speed high-torque for climbing or digging. Spring-applied hydraulic release parking brake locks the drive when machine stops to prevent sliding on slopes.
